The ratio of nursing aid to patient can range from 1:6-1:8 based on the acuity mix of the residents.

How often will the patient work with the rehab team; physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy?
Residents in Post-Acute Care (TCU-Transitional Care Unit) will be seen by the rehab team 5 to 6 times a week.

Will my loved one have choices in regards to meal options?
Residents do have choices at every meal. We take into consideration any specific diagnoses.

How long will my loved one be at Foss?
The length of stay, and rehab program plan, is based on the specific diagnosis, progress of the resident and Medicare/ Medicare replacement/ HMO guidelines. 

What are next steps, after rehab is complete and discharge is pending?
Foss provides a discharge planner to assist with next steps for discharge to the appropriate setting and needed care.
