1858: Ludwig C. Foss was born in Romerike, Norway.

1947: The Home became affiliated with the Lutheran Church.
1952: The original Foss Home closed its doors and the Foss Auxiliary was founded.
1957: The new Foss Home opened with 56 residents under the guidance of L.C. Foss' son, Halfdan Foss.
