Dementia Care
Dignity is of the utmost importance in the treatment of Alzheimer’s and related dementias. These can be among the most difficult of diseases, for both the family and the affected individual. When the need for specialized care and safety become urgent, our Dementia Care Unit can help.
Living with dementia can be stressful and confusing. Our consistent, structured routine of programs andactivities can comfort and calm those affected by mental losses. Within this structure, residents are encouraged to do as much as they can for themselves.
The atmosphere is intimate and quiet. Residents safely enjoy a living room, family room and outdoor courtyard. Indoors or out, those who wander can do so in a secure environment. And all the rooms are single, so residents have private time, too.
Our goal is to help residents with dementia feel safe, comfortable and accepted, while allowing them to retain as much independence as possible.
