A Tribute to Commitment: Staff Milestones
We enjoy a tremendously committed staff. One hundred
and sixty-six of our employees have served for five years or more, and seven
of our employees have served for 22 years or more, meet them below:

Years Jeff helps lead a fine team that keeps the buildings and grounds looking great. To Jeff, taking care of Foss is like taking care of a very large house. He has enjoyed friendships built through a stable crew. |

Years Minky has many talents in the kitchen, which serves the residents well: "I like making sure the food is good for all of the residents--especially those with special diets." Minky's longevity also gives her a good perspective of the progression of Foss. She feels "we are getting better and better." |

Years When asked why she has stayed at Foss for so many years, Cary says that "Foss feels like home". This invaluable Dementia Care Unit nurse enjoys the challenge of her unit. She likes to be able to anticipate the needs of residents and to engage them.

24 Years Linda Corrigan, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Aide Linda plays a valuable role as companion for residents in their journey to health. She "loves working with the residents, and hearing their stories of the past." Linda has also made good friends with other staff: "you can say 'good morning' many, many times here." |

24 Years Joseph McCormack, Laundry Joseph is a representative of a large crew who take care of the housekeeping and laundry for Foss. Our dedicated crew keep Foss clean and comfortable. Joseph encapsulates the reason for his 22 years simply: "it's a good job with good people."

Ida is a prime example of the friendliness you experience at Foss. She has a natural ability with people which has lead to many advancements in her career while at Foss. She has seen value in staying at Foss through the years: "I don't think there are other nursing homes that could surpass Foss in our care."

22 Years Annette has seen Foss in the bright light of midday, in the waning evening and in the dark of night. She has also experienced the rhythms and personalities of different units. Through all of this variety, and after 20 years, she has stayed with us because she identifies with our dedication to quality care.
